UBA SANI: the Consumate philanthropist and a reknown politician

Hon Dr Uba Sani as he is fondly called, stepped into the political space with the singular aim of giving back to humanity what he has been endowed with by God. He was formerly a Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs during the era of President Olusegun Obasanjo, and Special Adviser (Political) to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Over time, he has built a political fortune with a reservoir of very loyal supporters. He cut his teeth in the institutions of public service when he also served with the Kaduna State Ministry of Works and Housing.


Dr Uba sani lived up to his status as a distinguished gentle man by amplifying the voice of the masses. He has contributed on issues that touched on the day-to-day lives of not only members of his immediate constituency, but also Kaduna state and the nation in general.
He was particularly instrumental to some of the landmark reforms of this era especially in business aand other strategic sectors of the Nigerian economy.

A social welfarist, he believes that the rich are obligated to cater for the poor and underprivileged in the society. His policy thrust is anchored on a strong partnership between public and private sectors. While the government has the responsibility to provide the enabling environment, to achieve sustainable economic growth and social development, the private sector must play the pivotal role.

Hon Dr Uba Sani work rate and capability for critical thinking remain his core  leadership attributes, in addition to commitment to transparency and accountability. He approaches every responsibility and task with an infectious passion, commitment and perseverance. A hands-on leader who leads by example, he has the knack to identify, assemble, and nurture talents to create motivated teams with capacity to deliver optimal outcomes.

He believes that the provision of amenities and social development cannot be left to government alone. He therefore instituted a scholarship scheme through his foundation Uba Sani foundation For under privileged (USEFUL) several years before venturing into politics, which he later institutionalized by setting up the Uba sani youths training center He has awarded scholarships to over 1,000 students of Kaduna state origin, in various institutions of higher learning.

A consumate philanthropist, Uba Sani's  generosity and quest to uplift  others transcends the award of scholarships. He has instituted various other subsisting empowerment initiatives for trade groups, artisans, communities, women and other vulnerable groups in the society. His Alma Maters  –  Kaduna Polytechnic also in Kaduna have benefited from his generous disposition to give back to the society.

Dr Uba Sani has served and is still serving the community he came from and beyond, let join hands collectively in canvassing our votes for him come 2019.
